A little more information about us
Represented by a committee elected by the membership, the group monitors plans and proposals covering our local area. These include the following:
- Planning Applications
- Road Schemes
- Footways
- Public Open Spaces
- Alcoholic and Entertainment Licences
- Tree Preservation
- Aircraft Noise
- Parking
Regular inspection of planning applications is made at Trafford MBC Offices by a sub-committee. Any objections or comments are then submitted to the planning directorate.
Where residents are directly affected by a proposal, a co-ordination role is available to assist in making concerns known. However, please note we do not offer professional advice.
Whilst representing the view of its members, the group supports high quality well planned development that enhances Bowdon and its neighbouring localities.
